Donations and Fundraising

Fundraising activities enable the ISLA PTO & ISLA to fund many initiatives, including curriculum/supply money for our teachers, funding for Community Events, Family Nights and extra-curricular activities, and the Language Ambassador (LA) program. LAs are native Spanish speakers from Spanish-speaking countries who come to ISLA to help in our classrooms, familiarize the students with more native Spanish speakers, and share their culture with our students.

FUND COMMUNITY EVENTS

Your donation will help with some of the expenses associated with the ISLA PTO’s free community events each school year. Some expenses include; popcorn supplies ($25),  decorations ($100), food/beverages ($250), Entertainment ($500), facilities rentals ($1500)

FUND SCHOOL & CLASSROOM SUPPORT

Your donation will help with some of the expenses associated with ISLA PTO’s support programs for the school, teachers, and classrooms each year. Some expenses include; special projects ($100), staff appreciation ($250), classroom supplies ($500), field trip support ($2000)

FUND AN LA

Your donation will help with some of the expenses that ISLA PTO incurs with a Language Ambassador during a school year. Some expenses include; flu shot ($25), monthly cell phone ($50), monthly school lunch ($64), misc. monthly expenses ($100), education - responsive classroom ($325), monthly stipend ($300), Amity fee ($1600)
