Hi! My Name is Gisela Marlene Morales Flores. I’m 23 years old and come from El Salvador. I live in a city called Santa Ana. I live with my parents, my sister and my grandma. My mom is a teacher in a public school, and my dad works in the Health Ministry. My sister is in high school. She will be going to Star University next year. My grandma stays at home. I got a Bachelor’s degree from Universidad Católica de El Salvador, with an emphasis in Teaching English. I graduated this year, in July. I’ve always had a deep interest and love for languages. In 2019, I enrolled in a French program that my university had. My hobbies are reading, listening to music, cooking, learning languages, watching series or movies, having some coffee with my friends, and going for a walk. I truly think being an inter in ISLA will allow me to learn new teaching techniques, methods, and ways to manage a classroom. Also, I think being in the United States will help me get a deeper understanding and knowledge of different cultures from all over the world, which will at the same time, open up and bigger my vision of the world. Also, I’m looking forward to sharing as much as I can about my culture a language, which I think will help me to appreciate it even more than I already do.
