LA WINTER WEAR NEEDED:

Womens XS snowpants (OR girls size 14-16)

Womens S gloves & mittens

Womens winter boots SIZE 5-6 & 8

Mens winter gloves SIZE M or L

Please drop off any items you may have for LA use with Emily in the front office. Or you can send it to school with your student. We are also accepting good jackets, snow pants, mittens/gloves, etc. for future LA use so if you have winter wear that doesn't fit the above requests we will gladly take it.


ISLA’S BARNES & NOBLE BOOKFAIR FUNDRAISER

Sunday, December 2nd, 2018    Ridgedale Store        10am-8pm


  • Shop your holiday gift list and birthday present needs, find great stories, toys, collectables, workbooks, journaling supplies and more => $ from your purchases comes back to ISLA classrooms and teachers*.
  • Purchase a book from your teachers’ wish lists => more than 150 books are donated to classroom libraries annually
  • Order a cheesecake for holiday dinners => $ from cafe purchases count too! (see attached order form)
  • Just show up to represent the ISLA community and have fun!


* Make sure you tell all your friends and family who come shopping that day to inform the cashier that they are part of the ISLA fundraiser (only those sales count towards our money earned).


LA PROGRAM

We’re always looking for future LA Host Families.  Please contact Kim Gelperin or Meggin Gregory for more information.

It’s possible we may still need a host family for this coming spring (mid-January to end of school) - let us know if this timing might work for your family!



VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

IMMEDIATE/BIGGEST NEEDS INCLUDE:

  • Library - The library is still in need of additional volunteers. Dates available throughout the school year. Are you only available on a limited basis - That’s okay! Pick the date(s) that work for you! Regular volunteers are extra helpful, but not required. Prefer to talk to someone about what’s expected before signing up? Email us!
