From the very beginnings of ISLA, the community has embraced a "culture of giving."
As a public charter school, the sense of community and a shared responsibility for our children's well-being has been woven into the school's DNA from day one. There are many great things at ISLA, and chief among them is this wonderful community. That comes from the many people who volunteer throughout the year, whether it is for an hour or throughout the entire school year– That time is valuable to both the children and yourself.

Why Volunteering Matters (For You, Your Kids, Your School)
Ongoing research shows that family engagement in schools improves:

Types of Volunteering Available to the ISLA Community
We have opportunities for volunteering that fit any level of time commitment available to you, throughout the year.
§ School Programs (Lunch, Library, Classroom support, etc.)
§ Fundraising (Restaurant Nights, Give to the Max Day, etc.)
§ Community & Family Events (PTO family events, Grade level social events, etc.)

Unable to volunteer your time?
The ISLA PTO is always looking for more donation items for Fiesta, teachers, LAs and You could consider a financial donation if volunteering is not an option. Both your time and your monetary donations, in any amount, are valued and appreciated.
