I am Dayan Bolaños, a 22-year-old hailing from the dynamic city of Pasto, Colombia. My connection to my heritage is evident in my love for regional dishes like arepas and broasted chicken, which mirror the vibrant culture of Nariño. My academic path led me to the University of Nariño, where I've immersed myself in the study of foreign languages, motivated by a desire to explore and share the vast potential that languages hold. I strive to foster a learning environment that not only cultivates a passion for the Spanish language but also celebrates cultural diversity, encouraging students to engage with different cultures and forms of communication. For me, Spanish is more than a means of communication; it is a doorway to a world of beauty and depth, where the literature, poetry, and cinema of Spanish-speaking countries offer a rich tapestry of traditions to explore. I aim to create a setting where everyone feels like they belong to a close-knit family, sharing insights and experiences to grow together in a truly enriching educational environment.
