My name is Ana Milagro, but I prefer that people call me Mily. I am 23 years old and I am from Morazan, El Salvador. Currently, I am studying for a Bachelor Degree in English. I really like playing guitar, ukulele, painting and dancing. I am a curious person who is passionate to learn something new every day. Honestly, I think that the kid inside me never died. Last year I had the opportunity to do my teaching practice online in St. John Vianney High School where I met Mr. Steven Skawsky who is the Spanish teacher and who showed me all the strategies that he applied in his classroom, it was a new experience full of new knowledge and experiences that made me boost my confidence in teaching. One of my goals for 2023 was to travel to the United States to have an intercultural exchange. And thanks to my parents, Gerardo Barrios University, Salvadoran American Scholarship Program (SASP), AMITY and ISLA that goal became true. Now I am here in Plymouth, Minnesota, with a new challenging experience which will make me grow.
